Hub City Reporter subscribes to the standards of editorial independence adopted by the newsroom to protect the integrity of our journalism.

• Full Authority: Hub City Reporter retains full authority over editorial content to protect the best journalistic and business interests of the organization.
• The Firewall: We maintain a strict firewall between news coverage decisions and sources of all revenue. Acceptance of certain financial support does not constitute implied or actual endorsement of donors or their products, services, or opinions.
• News Judgment: We accept gifts, grants, and sponsorships from individuals and organizations for the general support of our activities, but news judgments are made independently and not on the basis of donor support.
• Topic Support: While organizations may consider donations to support coverage of particular topics, Hub City Reporter maintains full editorial control of the coverage. Our journalists and reporters maintain the sole power to determine what goes into a story and when it is published.

No Right of Review: Hub City Reporter does not cede any right of review or influence over editorial content, nor do we authorize the unauthorized distribution of editorial content to donors prior to publication.
