523 CUSD Scholars Celebrate Reclassification

Compton Unified School District honored 523 scholars last week in the district’s Reclassification Ceremony at Centennial High School.

This annual event recognizes students from all Compton Unified schools who have met the reclassification criteria and have transitioned from English Learner to being recognized as proficient in English.

Reclassification marks a significant milestone in a student’s educational journey, reflecting their hard work and determination.
